Anthony Bryant is a professionally accredited music producer, writer, engineer, father, and philanthropist.
He obtained his Master of Science in HR Management. He holds a Masters of Public Administration
(MPA), and holds numerous Human Resources Certifications such as PHR & SHRM-CP.

Prior to his music career, he served for 8 years in the US Military where he gained invaluable
Administrative, Managerial and technical experience including assisting with re-engineering and training
of a department of over 350 personnel.

He currently serves as the Studio Manager of Icon Studios ATL, one of the most recognized professional
recording studios in the Atlanta area. He has been a Grammy Voting member since 2014 and in addition
to music production, he most recently has ventured into production and engineering for medical podcasts
and audiobooks.

Dr. Hughes completed her internship and neurology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was in her fellowship in Electrophysiology at the Medical College of Georgia when she got the call that would forever change the focus of her professional career. Her sister had developed double vision and was suspected of having a brain tumor. The good news was that she did not have a brain tumor but the bad news was that she had Multiple Sclerosis.

Dr. Hughes began to focus her career on MS after her sister’s diagnosis. She founded the Augusta MS Center in 2002. As division Chair for Neurology at Greenville Health System from 2009-2015 where she worked to expand access to neurological services upstate of SC. During her time at the health system, she was instrumentally involved in developing the neurology curriculum for the new medical school.

In 2015 she opened her private practice, Premier Neurology which has been a Partner in MS Care designee by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society since 2016. A member of the Board of Trustees for the National MS Society from 2008 to 2019, she chaired the African American Advisory committee from 2008-2019. She was inducted in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Health Professionals Volunteer Hall of Fame in 2015. She has presented on the topic of diversity at the Consortium of MS Centers annual meeting and community events on numerous occasions. Her greatest professional joy comes from helping people overcome the challenges of living with MS.

Ruth has been a catalyst for change throughout her career, while always keeping the patient at the center of anything she does. It is her passion and strong personal connection with the patient communities she serves that allows her to deliver best-in-class programs.

She is currently the Vice President/ General Manager of the Infectious Disease and Immunology franchise at Quest Diagnostics. In this role Ruth has been instrumental in the COVID-19 response planning for Quest Diagnostics and has also spearheaded the recently announced Quest for Health Equity initiative geared towards leveling the playing field for health disparities in underserved populations.

Prior to Quest she served as commercial lead for Respiratory at Novartis’ Pharma in the New Products business unit and Executive Director of Neuroscience at Novartis. Before joining Novartis she headed up the neurology marketing department at Acorda Therapeutics and held various leadership positions at Bayer, Organon and Allergan in the years prior to that.

Ruth holds an MSc in Pharmacy from University of Utrecht (The Netherlands).

Family & friends, health & fitness and giving back to the community are most important to her. She has a blended family with 3 daughters and a son and visits her family all over the world as often as she can.

Dr. Angela Corbin is a Senior Program Officer with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation in the Health Equity and Strategy Office. In this role, Dr. Corbin provides direct project management for Health Equity programs that focus on applying Health Equity framework strategies for marginalized communities, Public Health Agencies, and Community Based organizations through federal and private foundation funded grant work.

Throughout her Public Health career, she has held positions in state, county, and federal government programs that helped to reduce vaccine preventable diseases and improve vaccination rates for school aged children. In her work with nonprofit and grassroots organizations, Dr. Corbin managed programs devoted to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis A, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections. Prior to joining CDC Foundation, Dr. Corbin served as the manager of Community Engagement and the Director of Clinical and Chapter programs with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Dr. Corbin holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Western Kentucky University and has also received her Masters of Public Health and her PhD in Public Health, with an Epidemiology concentration from Walden University. Dr. Corbin’s research focuses on improving barriers to healthcare for minorities and those living with HIV/AIDS and STI’s She is a member of the Georgia Public Health Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She enjoys traveling with her family, zip lining, and snorkeling.

Driven. Dedicated. Passionate. Leader. Rochelle “Shelly” Jones has left her mark on several corporations over the past three decades. Currently she is the Chief Operating Officer at Stewart Miller Simmons Trial Attorneys, a serious injury and wrongful death law firm which has won numerous record setting jury verdicts and made U.S history winning the first billion-dollar jury verdict for a rape victim.

Under Shelly’s guidance, Stewart Miller Simmons (SMS) has represented some of the nation’s highest profile civil rights death cases, including George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, Gregory Towns, Alton Sterling, Chase Sherman, and Walter Scott. As the COO, Shelly is responsible for accounting, human resources, business development, marketing, and operations.

Prior to opening SMS, Ms. Jones successfully held multiple leadership roles in Strategic Planning, Operations, Sales, and Consulting at companies such as Stewart, Seay and Felton Trial Attorneys, Miniter Group, Executive Alliance, Travelport (formerly Worldspan), Tweaker Inc., Jenny Craig, and The Lovett School. Shelly, with her twin sister Kelly, received academic scholarships to Duke University where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. While at Duke, Shelly was a Duke Blue Devil cheerleader, vice president of Dance Black, and held several leadership positions in the Lambda Omega chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Born in New Orleans, reared in Atlanta, Shelly has two adult kids, five crazy nephews, and loves children. An NFL football and NCAA basketball fanatic, Shelly is a long-time volunteer at Caring for Others, an international human services organization that provides food, clothing, and a continuum of services to families struggling with the effects of a natural disaster, impoverished circumstances, and temporary misfortune. Shelly is also an original member of the Convoy of Care, a partnership with her law firm, local news stations, law enforcement, the trucking industry and Caring for Others bringing disaster relief across the globe.

An MS warrior herself, Shelly loves making a difference and fighting for others.

Collins Yates, RN, BSN, MSCN, joined the MSCA in 2015 as a triage nurse in the former RN call center. In 2016, she was promoted to Clinical Lead. In 2017, she was one of six Multiple Sclerosis Mini Fellowship recipients at Stony Brook University Hospital, New York offered to applicants from North America and Canada. In 2018, she obtained her Multiple Sclerosis Certified Nursing specialization and was an International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nursing scholarship recipient for the 2019 CMSC.

Most recently, Collins accepted a position on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Healthcare Provider Council, comprised of ten HCPs in the Southeastern region. Collins values continued education and is dedicated to MSCA's diverse patient population.
